The face-lifted Renault Fluence will make its debut at the 2012 Istanbul
Motor Show. The changes have been mostly to the exterior of the car
while retaining the most of the old looks but with a twist. New Renault
Fluence now has the new Renault front which means a bigger and a more
aggressive grille. Its front end now has the vertically-set logo at the
centre of a broad black strip.
You would also have noticed the LED daytime running lights. At the rear
the changes are not that major but overall the Fluence now has more
presence. The interior has been subtly tweaked too but the impressive
space remains. There are a few new additions to the features list.
From the basic model, all versions now have Bluetooth radios equipped with USB.
The
New Renault Fluence also has the Renault R-Link multimedia system which
will provide connected services. Renault R-Link incorporates the
navigation system and telephony function and can be connected to
portable music players.
There are two new engine
options- a 1.6 petrol and diesel that will join the current line-up. The
new petrol engine makes 115 bhp and the diesel makes 130 bhp. Also new
is the X-Tronic CVT automatic transmission. Expect it to arrive next
year.
